Woodford Bowling club has a very friendly and thriving ladies section of over 30 members.

Affiliated to the Essex County Women’s Bowling Association, we take part in inter-club friendly matches and enter teams into the FDL, Saban League, Colbert Club and Essex County Competitions. Woodford Lady Members have represented the County.

We play on an equal basis with the men’s section and frequently play mixed matches.

Club championship competitions for our own members continue throughout the season at the club and are keenly supported. Players of all levels are welcome and our handicapping system gives everyone a chance to compete.

We have a busy social calendar each year which culminates in our popular Black Tie Ladies Festival Dinner Dance.
